I got back to Colorado 1 hour ago. The goldwing runs at 80 all day just fine (11+ hours to Denver yesterday)but it sure beat this old guy up.
Max & Ken, Cabo San Lucas had the biggest hurricane in their history early today and it is heading up the baja.
Tmeister & Laura, thank you for hosting a bunch of dirt bags like us. You have a nice little cabin on the lake. Tmeister, please tell your sister she did a great job on the remodel.
    fyyff, we are fun.

Thanks TM for the invite, thanks everybody for a great weekend. Sorry to Dave and banana and Amy for snoring. I nominate santa Maria del oro, Durango for meeting place, though I keep seeing "xilitla" enough to know better.

Glad I didn't make this trip. Messed my back up on Wednesday (2 days after my wife came home from back surgery). Sunday I was so bad we had to call an ambulance to get me off the floor. Had my back operated on 39 years ago.But never felt pain like this. Morphine and Percocet beat them legal drugs in Colorado.I'm happy to be walking again. But there's no way I could ride a bike home from Okie. Hope you all had fun,got drunk, and told lots of lies.

Sorry to hear about the back troubles Doug.

In other news all doubt is gone about the cliff jump at the rally site. Had a perfect lake day today and I broke out the the ski boat for a late season run up the river to settle the fact. Yes it should have been done by all:)

    The jump site:

Got LB and Tippy to man the boat while I went for it.

It was a nice little jump and water still nice enough:

I'm getting big enough to displace a respectable amount of water lol.

Damn big bunch of pelicans having a lake orgy.

Tippy enjoying the ride on a perfect late September evening:

Damn fun time with the Latin Rally thanks again for all who showed up to make it fun.
Looking forward to Mexico next year!

    Nice!

Your place on the lake is a slice of heaven. I remember you on that Honda riding around the bonfire and it makes me smile. You wildman.

A good woman, a good dog and a boat that runs is a beautiful thing.

You are a lucky man indeed.

    Indeed!

Then there's Real de Catorce. Booyah!

If travel distance gets to be a sticky wicket then maybe Parras de la Fuente. That's only 8.5 hours from Austin and we could book the entire Hostal Farol or Casona del Banco.
