10miles of single track and sand says otherwise on my 12.

Ah youth beechum1, at only 39, you can ride your goldwing offroad as you wish. For me, at 63, I'll keep my gl1800 on the pavement.

There was beer and bad judgement involved. And stubborn youth and a gas light the whole way. I won't do that again in purpose.

A goldwing from Colorado to Oklahoma? What could be easier. 1.8l, cruises at 120mph all day, super comfy, enough storage...

blah, blah, blah. I've only had the bike to 112mph. But being from Colorado, every law enforcement outside of my state will be looking for me to see if I am carrying any of the good shit I grow in my garden. And the answer is, I won't be carrying the good green. But I will bring 6 packages of fresh tortillas and hot sauce from the tortillaria and Bman, do you want me to strap the parilla pig on the back of the bike? And as you will see, the gl1800 is pathetic for touring storage. Our KLR's have more room for stuff when we travel. But to overcome the shortage of storage I bought a trailer but I won't be towing it to Adair, OK. If I can massage my schedule in the next 3 days, I will leave Carbondale on Thursday and be in Adair for afternoon beer on Friday.
And nice logo for this year's event.

Hell yeah there is wifi at the Quonset Hut with an unbelievably long cryptic code required.

It must be time for LARR, there is a light dusting of snow on Mt. Sopris this morning at about 11,000'. If nothing goes haywire today, I'll be on the road tomorrow morning early heading to Oklahoma for weekend. 6 packages of fresh tortillas and a few containers of hot sauce will have priority in my packing. If you want anything else from Colorado, that is legal to transport out of my state, let me know today.

Only thing I can think of from Colorado is maybe some fireworks if you can buy those out of season, we can put on a little lightshow. But as far as from Wisconsin I can think of some Spotted Cow Totally Naked stuff that would work well:1drink Bring me a case down Max and I'll pay you back:deal

    Who's arriving when:ear

I was going to do a little yard work tomorrow and then check the valves and change the oil on the old mule so I could do a little riding.

Thinking of a little fish fry on Friday night and then lots of meat and sausages on Saturday evening...

I'm leaving Kansas City at about 3, so I'll be there by 7 or 8 because I'm probably not really going to leave at 3.

What's the thought on weather? Friday in KC it is going to be cold (50s) and rainy. In addition to being a huge wimp, I'm not set up for cold/rainy weather on the bike. As of right now, the plan is to take the WR 250 with the truck unless the forecast changes.

Lets drink some beer & rum! I'm bringing some Zacapa!

Not fireworks from Colorado, that would be Wyoming. The goldwing is loaded up and I'll be gone early tomorrow morn, Thursday. It is at least 13 hours to Tmeisters mecca, so I'm expecting to show up Friday but maybe tomorrow late.
Tortillas and hot sauce are on the bike and ready to travel.
Bman did not respond to me bringing the little dead piggy on the back of the bike, so he will have to find it some other place.

I knew you weren't serious about the pig.

I'll bring spotted cow and totally naked. Enough for all.

We're leaving Friday mid day and Amy wants to hotel it...

The dealer finisher my bike today, but it's still not ridable. So we're driving in a diesel jetta.

I'm sure we can find a spot in the Quonset Hut, there is one bed and a pull out sleeper sofa. The next best place is the little Lake Hudson Inn, you will be the closest to breakfast brunch Saturday/Sunday:dg Or at my place in town or the ADVshop RV...
