Sometimes in broad daylight. They are getting bold as we humans encroach on their natural habitat.

Bring a heater if last year was any indication . There wasn’t enough fire to help.

Bright side, it’s (as of now) supposed to be mid-40s during day and 20s at night so WAY better than last year. But give it an hour and who knows.

Re: camping. It’s basically just a concrete parking spot with water and electricity. Which is fine for winter, because we mostly just sleep in our vehicles or trailers with electric heaters pumping. And Rick likes to bring a damn microwave. :fpalm

(But the electric coffee pot is a nice plus)

Bad news, the coffee maker was left out on the table all night last year in the sub freezing temps and busted it's pipes. RIP.
I'll hafta bring the microwave :vardy

I’ve made some baby steps towards actually having my bike ready.

    1) installed a relocated engine breather (from the crankcase to the valve cover. This should remedy the oil puking into my air box (and into the cylinder). Drilling a hole through the perfectly good magnesium cover was nerve-racking.
    2) checked valves

still gotta install wheel bearings, tires, Safari tank, etc.
