I have not, unfortunately I will not be able to Experience the D2D as I need to meet up with my buddies who are flying in at Denali on the 19th.

Meh, that’s only 10-12hrs of riding.

On the calculator it could be that number of hours , meaning plugging along NON STOP at 70km/h or 58.3 km/h respectively .
These are calculated average speeds , under ideal riding conditions
But one does not ride the calculator .
The question of how many hours it did take has still not been answered. Did they not stop once for a pee ( only one ?:rofl) or to refill the tank or to look at the silent scenery ?

None of that matters....it’s their ride to enjoy how they want to.

Didn't say they weren't permitted to enjoy however they chose to ride ... I was just wanting to find out how long it took them in actual travel time and at what speeds and if they did many stops along the way . Averages don t tell a whole story .

I rode in the rain yesterday for four hours testing everything and then I came home and setup my tent and slept in it to prepare myself. I’m getting excited as I’m less than three weeks until launch!!!

Also added special graphics on the bike for the journey!

36E35154-1AF5-435C-95AE-DA70B8727C43.jpeg Did my final prep ride today with the wife tagging along on her Ryker. Swapped the Anakee Wilds out for the Adventures that came on the bike to ride to Whitehorse where I will swap back into a set of Wilds I have staged up there for the gravel and mud.

I will inventory and pack everything up on the bike tomorrow and give it all a final look over in preparation of an 0500hr launch Friday morning.

Goal is to ride 1,000 miles to Fargo on Friday to achieve the iron butt award, I though that would be ironic start of trip to go with my I Saved My Ass in 2018 Campaign.

    5 days until launch!

I’m fortunate to have a unique resource that was able to design and fabricate them for me.

    Enjoy your trip.

And enjoy that clean bike while it's in your garage. It will never look like that again.
