    @Essig

    I can say from greenbrier there was nothing remotely difficult. The challenge for me was riding that much single track at one time. The trails themselves were fantastic. A nice break from the Famous Rocky Outdoors. Although I’m more acclimated to rocks then the occasional deep sand you may find which was my only bail that day. I’ve seen worse woops dual sporting Wharton.. I just can’t speak for this exact location.

    I watched that video you mentioned with the “easy and longer or harder and shorter” split. The hard didn’t look hard at all. They put a few logs here and there as obstacles. Riding RAC should make that a piece of cake.

    Don’t worry.. I was nervous as f too. I told Doc 3 rows back from the start that I thought I was going to vomit lol. I tensed up and couldn’t ride for shit for the first bit of it. Add getting out of people’s way every 90 seconds and I was like wtf and I doing here. I’m so glad I stuck it out as long as I did. I still feel the effects from it too. Not many gym workouts last 3 days.

    It's just a casual stroll thru the Joisey woods:

    That was last year's Sandy Lane. @Mr&MrsEnduro hit the nail on the head though. It is not the difficulty of the trail that will make you throw the towel in. It's the amount. Regardless, you will love it.

    @Essig Only way to prepare for it is to go ride. And when you start getting tired, ride more. Then when you're exhausted, ride for another hour.
    Honestly, get yourself to the point you can ride continuously for 25 miles, take a break, and do it three more times.
    Jersey trails only get difficult with speed, otherwise their pretty easy trail riding. Except the whoops, they suck.

    So far- you lost a dog,
    But gained a few motorcycles and some guns-
    Your Probley out ahead, depending on how you felt about the dog.
    By the way -
    Chapter 7 of my Study is Titled "Tammy gives away the dog".
