Ohhh speaking of files, anyone got a good source for good ones? Work always orders lowest bidder crap, and the cuts don't last long.

Nicholson. They are good files and be found most anywhere. Just keep them clean, and dry. Don’t oil a file. If it rusts, or gets greasy clean it with a file brush.
I keep a small set of Nicholson files in my Kennedy box to touch up stuff. I’ve had them since about 1999.

This is stuff that lasts 2 or more lifetimes. The Nicholson chit i have from stepfather's stash is still go-to tooling 30 years on.

I adore a good power tool, but there's something magical about applying a sharp hand file to a piece of metal and making a radius smile like you want it to

And it may look all red and flowery, but that is a diguise. It conceals all of the Kelly dogs.

Walk by Kelly's tent early enough, you will see he is doing calesthenics in there!

As I said to someone the other day, the person that created that probably spent $1.00 to make it, now probably has a lot $$$ to their name.

One of those things you see it and it pisses you off because it is so simple (why did I not think of that).

Amazon offers a line of goods named Amazon Basics. It's no frills stuff priced right and a damn good bargain. This bag was 39.95. The quality seems to be good, it has a built-in rain cover, and I've found it incredibly useful. The DR 650 tank design does not lend itself well to a tank bag, and I've come to prefer this.
