I can't find the website but check this out.....
So, anyone wanna try to get together for a couple hours? What day works?
And P.S. Neilsons is about 5 minutes from my house and they do have ice screws.
Would this be a good ice ridin machine?
That would be perfect. I wanna see that in the spring!
It's for sale................so I gotta go look ..... 1980 425IT (2 stroke)
Anybody know anything to look for on these bikes?
Check to see if it runs!
Taht thing is sweet
Just look for wear and tear, ITs are bad machines
buy it for me?
That bike rocks. How did yamaha make baby blue look cool?
Buy it, buy it, buy it!
We'll see tomorrow. Ms Panic says no more bikes , so maybe we go halfies and you sneak it into your garage. I'll let you know how much you owe me after I work the guy tomorrow . He's askin $950 :huh , so he's pretty proud of it.
This wouldn't be the first covert moto-mission I've ever seen...
...nor will it be the last.
I love it when a plan come together.
Ahhhhg, I can't ride for another month. Just saw my orthopod, says another month, bones are still moving independantly and I need to put the sling back on and slow down.
No ice for me this year! f#$k
Sorry to hear it Skinner. Do what the doc says and we'll see you at the spring ride all healed up
Did we buy a bike
Fuckin' doctors....what the hell do they know ?
Wicked fast and loud......... Recent top end and clutch, new sprockets and chain, new tires on sorta roundish rims. Dude was stuck on $900 , so it's still in his shop. Told him I'd give him an answer tomorrow.
The owner had about 10 old Yammies....IT's, XTs, RDs, TDM, all sorts of cool shit.
Sure is Purdy though
can a 1980 be titled for the street regardlees of cc size two stroke bull shit?
Looking for an off road machine, Skadamo's cr250 can't be beat for $1,250.00
Despite the unique look of a "vintage" off-road machine, their suspension & power are no match for today's machines...
For $1200, Id be pickin' up Skad's cr in a heartbeat.
I think your observation is spot on. Skadamos' CR looks like a screemin deal for nearly the same money. My inital thought was to go look at the IT, if it was solid (which it seems to be), then beat him up on price and walk out for $500 or so, but the owner is stuck at $900 and I found out NO title so will be impossible to even try to get a plate for it. Also how much will I really use it?
So i am gonna pass. Any body else interested I can pass along the phone number. Chain........your off the hook, till the next deal comes around
