I swear I must have seen someone who used some cheap(er) U-shaped waterproof bags on here. I was looking at the SW Motech 700 Dry Bag. It sits on top and also has these sort of saddle bags as well. They remind me of the GL Coyote/Great Basin but not 400 dollars. More like...well....100. Currently, I just use a 70 liters Kayaking bag for everything. Would last me several days of camping food but would need to filter water. Too cumbersome without a proper soft luggage set up with buckles, etc.
