    This being Canada, it was a long-arsed train. 10 min wait, and I have no idea how long it had started coming through before I got there. And it was moving pretty quickly.

    Me and my son years ago crossing the narrow gauge Cumbres Toltec railroad new Chama, New Mexico.
    That ride was our last ride together :(
    We promised to ride the train together someday-------someday never happened.........so sadly------- years later I rode it by myself.

    They use that to work on railroad tunnels to support the walls and overhead as they replace or shore up support's of the tunnel.

    Thank you sir. I have never seen one. I have tracked down (no pun intended there) lots of abandoned tunnels in eastern Ohio. Your tunnel and railroad pics are fascinating.
