I guess your plate helps answer the question asked here: http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=367804
Pretty much I've got a place in SW Virginia that's 2 miles UP a dirt road that's not very well maintained. It's hauled everything from bags of mulch, to groceries, my dog, firewood and my 260 Lbs for almost 50,000 miles including trips to Nova Scotia, Daytona, Banff, Glacier Ntl Pk and the the length of the Blue Ridge Pky many times. It may not be the best at any one thing but it does all I've asked it to.
Didn't read the whole post yet...but has anyone got FYYFF?
How about HNYBDGY (honey badger)?
ok, should have read the whole thread b4 posting...like it.
Got new plates for two of my bikes today.
The second one is on this thing:
My wife calls it her mini GS
No Fancy plates for Indian but we can choose last 4 digits in the registration number. The entire registration number stays for the life of vehicle.
So people with numerological interests opt to pay for last four digits to contain desired number (9 being most sought after) or their lucky number or numbers which add up to desired number. Some opt for numbers with repeating digits and people with money choose single digit numbers as they are more expensive to buy
We also allow local scripts on registration numbers. Vehicle plates have standardised formats but people tend to go off the path.
So equivalent of vanity plates are "fancy plates" here. It involves artistically painting numbers to form specific words - BOSS, SAI, DADA, KAKA, RAM, NANA (in local language). Some examples below :)
People also choose to paint their political or religious signs to show off their status
Another way is to paint number plates with reflective decals so that from distance only the desired names are seen and not the registration number :)
Here's mine. Loved " F440gs '
No pictures of the KTM, but its plate says "PA DRT"
you mister have a pretty pretty bike over there! :eek1

Click the pic for full size if it's too small to see on the screen
