Tires? Pressure? Did the bike run hot? What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Key is the rear Teraflex tire! Mounted on a stock 4.25 wheel(needs to be replaced, planning on 3.5). Front I have a D.I.D strong 1.8 with a Heidenau full knobby(whatever CJ stocks).... I run 25psi front & rear, don't believe in airing down with this much weight. I have an extra cooling fan piggy backed via relay off the stock unit with the lower temp sensor. Was only moderate warm(70s), bike ran perfect, 2nd & 3rd gear mostly spooled up. 1st gear was almost unrideable in the sugar sand....
Air speed velocity of a unladen swallow???? Ha!!!
That Teraflex IS DOT legal......so should qualify for Sonora....jus saying
I ran my bike with this similar set-up, loaded in Nevada heat (approx 90 degrees) with Grinderman, bike got very hot making some big climbs.
I really wanna explore the ideA of adding an oil cooler. Fairly easy I think....not sure how effective it would be be. But wanna keep the bike crashable & easy to repair( not a bunch of custom parts).
A few wheelies
A pretty standard tip over and what could have been a very exciting crash
Stoney lonesome harescramble course. I ran a 23:10 on the 950 compared to 22:00 to 22:40 on the KTM 200 during the race, which was good enough for third place in my class. Wouldn't want to do 2 hours on the 950 at that pace, but it sure was fun for one!
Riding on the beach in Pacific City
My best attempt at the "Banana Hill" in Raajärvi Finland last weekend ...didnt make it =(
Ever wondered how the clutch booster works? Wonder no more!
Albania Enduro Ride
Bravo! That was excellent! The scenery was incredible and those big bikes were in their natural environment. Beautiful!

Finally got through editing the last video from my trip back in 2014. Riding downhill mountainbike trails in Downieville, CA. You get to see me poke a hole in the clutch cover, too!
@gearheadE30 well done! Ive done those trails on a small bike and its a challenge! I would not enjoy that on my 950
I couldn't find a 950 Super Enduro video thread here, so i could not resist posting up a video that i just found that had our local hero (maybe alvincullumyork knows of the guy?) racing at this year's Desert 100.
Fast forward to :46 seconds and you'll see his SE brap into the scene on the right side of the screen....then a second SE bursts onto the scene at :53 seconds, a split second later at :54, the bike gets its front tire lofted well up into the air, then it looks like he gets the holeshot. That SE was in and out of the video until about 3:17.
The other SE was being rode by Wes Vanhoussin (spelling is wrong). His family owns Cyclops Adventure lighting and are awesome people! He is a freak on a big bike and was the main reason I race the D100, he is the only guy besides his dad that I've ridden with who can beat me on a big bike. I kept him in sight until his front mousse gave out and he had to pull out.
