Just a quick observation but the mods moved a video of mine from here into the 950 video thread. I think they should go in here because the SE is way cooler than the regular 950s but it's not a big deal either way.

No one has posted here in a while, so here's one of riding out in Dove Springs over the winter when I was prepping for Merzouga and trying to figure out sand. Didn't find much sand, but the hardpack was fun.

I was the only one of the group on a 950 SE but there were a few 790 Adventures with us this day, two 1090's, and a few other bikes. Not the best video but just threw it together for a couple of the guys... filmed in north Georgia.

Some video training after KTM Ultimate Race qualifier 2018 getting ready for Merzouga 2019. Happened to get a chance to ride with the Canadian qualifiers Radek and Vasile, which was a riot. Lots of great memories getting stuck and learning how to deal with sand that day. :beer

You know the feeling, when you se a hole in the ice and you just can't resist the tempation to try to bunnyhop over it?
And then when you get it, you make the hole bigger and bigger and try again?

I had to take a dump after watching this.

Your skills and physical strength are impressive. But are your rad and oil tank sufficiently braced for this work?

SE rads are hard to find and even harder to repair.

Thank you. "I had to take a dump after watching this." This the nicest thing anyone has said to me :rofl I've broken only one radiator so far. Hit a rock quite heavily on an enduro track. Few hundred other falls with no issues. It seems to be quite durable. SM990 rad fits with a little bit of welding, thats what I'm using now.
The oil sump is doing fine, I've had to fix a couple of threads, thats all. I keep thick rubber mat between the engine case and the bash, so most of the forces get transmitted there and to sump mostly just keeps the bash from falling off. The mount between the sump and the radiator is more flexible than stock.
