I always liked bikes which show an unobstructed view of their engine & gearbox. I will start this thread with a couple off pictures from two of my 1997 Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport's power plants! Let's see your bikes engine, and please give a description of the year and model of your bike.

I builded this for fun couple of years ago, bought it out of a basement in really bad condition.
Why did I sell this? It was such a nice ride...

My '93 R100R's prime motivation. Pretty when it's clean but it does get ridden, on muddy roads at times.

Other than a couple of scrapes on the valve covers and some discoloration on the Y-pipe, it doesn't look like your engine has even been run, much less ridden. How do you keep the bike so clean? Is the aluminum treated with Rub'n'Buff or a paint? Your wiring is super neat (clean). Speaking of the Y-pipe, no clamps? Any popping since going to the Y-pipe?

Hi Uke, engine was bead blasted and painted, she has 114,000km on her, wiring is mostly original but everything was throughly cleaned when the bike was apart. No popping on the exhaust joint. It's an awesome mostly original example of R100GS.

The CB-X is right at the top of moto art (right after Beemer Airheads, that is). It is still beyond my comprehension how anyone tunes those things. Tune or not, that is beauty, pure beauty.
