Regular cab dually master race checking in.
That's a winner.
Thanks guys, but it's really a 20 footer, it has some places in the paint that need to be addressed, and a couple of rattles that drive me crazy.
My 2016 Ram has some rattles that are getting on my nerves bad enough that I often dream of it catching fire and burning to the ground, but so far I’m not so lucky
My SO thinks I'm nuts because I'll pull over to investigate a random rattle. Rattles don't bother her a bit. I think she's the one that's nuts.
Isn't that what radios are for, hear a rattle turn up the radio, the rattle gets louder again turn up the radio. Now you know you have an actual problem when the radio can't cover the rattle, now that is the time to check and fix if necessary.
in my '14 Ford, the rattle is in the stereo!
in my '16 Ford I had a heat shield drving me crazy, but a muffler clamp solved that. Even a Dodgr shoudln't be that bad.....
Come take a ride I'm my 06 rust belt chevy, it's got a clunk, rattles and a vibration in the front or back depending on the day. I'd be happy if it burnt down as it's a faster death than it rusting away.
I pulled it in the barn to look for one that has gotten worse as of the last 2 trips to work, ......found it, both top and bottom shock rubbers on the right shock are MIA, ..... that'll rattle like a mofo.
Last week my 4 year old son told me he heard water sloshing around while he was riding in my truck. I’d heard this before in the winter and assumed that it was water and ice caught up on one of the running boards. Nope, the drains were plugged on the rear passenger door. There must have been 2 gallons of water or more that came out when I unplugged them. No idea how long that had been in there but it doesn’t see a lot of time parked outside so....
I’m hoping this aluminum body, it’s a ‘15 F150, fares better than a steel one would. The first thought that came to mind was it was time to sell it, lol.
Cab mounts, something inside the passenger door, weather stripping that makes noise with body flex unless you keep it wet with silicone, screw I picked up in the LF tire, seat belt buckle banging against the B pillar, coins and crap left in the door pockets....I hate rattles and squeaks.
Same thing happened a few years ago in my 4 door 2012 chebby, I took out all the little rubber drain plugs in the bottom of the doors, problem solved.
Before silicone paste came out to fix weatherstrip squeaks, we used a talcum powder paste. Just use talcum powder, a little water and a small cloth or brush to apply to weather strips and wipe off excess. Saw that in a Popular Science Magazine from the 50's, along with "Gus' Garage" and "Wordless Workshop".
You all would hate riding in my IH then.
Bed mounts that involve springs means that every bump makes the bed rattle.

2018 RAM 2500 Crew Cab, Cummins, doing what we love to do!
A recent pic of mine -
Very nice. I passed up buying one almost identical to that for a song a few years back and you're making me regret it even more
Really considering buying this.
