My ‘96 w/121k on it. Just before me and a buddy went hiking/camping in a Nat’l Forest about 100 mi from home. Was great to get out and be in nature after being just around the house for the last 4 weeks.

Not new to ADV, but new to the GS world. Been wanting an oil head since for a long time. Came across one last week in a condition and price I couldn't pass up from the original owner.

Now I just need DMV here to resume services and get it plated. DSC00023.jpg DSC00024.jpg

Thanks. It's the 1150 stock beak. There are a few threads on here on how to fit it up to the front of the 1100. The metal piece between the oil cooler and the beak is a profile I bent out of aluminum sheet to extend the contours of the beak back to meet the oil cooler

Super cheap amazon LEDs. $14 shipped

    Nilight 2PCS 18W 1260lm Spot... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G620ZVU?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

They are actually awesome and put the halogen headlight to shame...mounted them on the rail under the beak. PO had some big round Hellas mounted with a switch already so I just swapped the wires and was good to go

@Three Dawg do you have a ride report?

I’d love to live vicariously through you since we both ride the same bike, same year and same color =)
