@Three Dawg thank you for the ride report. That was great. Hopefully one day, you get to read mine.

oil pressure sensor is easy to change. Just do it while you change the oil and lay the bike onto its throttle hand side. Mine was leaking too...97 with 38k at the time.

I see it but it looks dry...no leaks from what I can tell

However - would a bad sensor have anything to do with my RID not showing more than 2 bars of oil temp? That’s been the norm since I’ve had this bike...

Has anybody else had trouble with rear shock mounts?

Any photos of the beak transplant?

I'd love to do that to mine.

Any leads on a lower fender? Looks like I am missing 25% of mine after the last off road ride.

Not the first time I have heard a similar issue. The seals on those shocks arent the best.

BMW R1100GS_side 050820.jpg After two R1200GS's I found my GS soulmate, a 1998 1100GS, only ~18,000 miles. Very satisfying bike. It speaks to me.

Started with a 98 Anniversary Edition. Went to and 09 then a 12 GSA then back to another 98 Anniversary Edition. Found a 3rd Anniversary Edition with 16K in May 2019. Love the 1100’s. Have the GS an RTP and an R. But my favorite is the GS that is patiently awaiting my return in MX.
