One thing II’ve noticed about using some longer, taller or different shields is it may interfere with my leaning forward and my helmet hits it.

Got one historical landmark bridge like that over a river near Grandbury Tx. If I can still get to it off FM Rd.

Nice. Is that a Brown’s side stand? Can it be raised and lowered easily while seated?

I put a Brown's on my new-to-me '84 RS after discovering that the OEM was a complete POS. Couldn't deploy it from the seat and neither can other RS owners with whom I've commiserated. Can't understand BMW putting out such a non-functional yet important part and staying with it for years.

About 45 minutes ago, a nice cool October ride in New Brunswick, just happened to be near a nice spot as the sun was setting. While the RS certainly doesn't offer the weather protection you get from the RT, it still is a pretty darn good cool weather bike and makes up for its weather protection deficiencies with some extra sharpness... Good times!

First decent (75 miles) ride since getting it out of the shop. Now I remember why I like this bike so much. IMG_1074.jpg
