Okay, so we've got a couple of tent/camping picture threads. Mostly pics of tents set up in an established campground next to a cement fire pit and a picnic table. Those are great and all, but...

Let's see pictures of motorcycle camping out in the wild NOT on an established campground!

    I'll start with a few:

    Lets see your pics now!

At the end of the day, we were just sitting in our camp-chairs enjoying some whiskey and wine, and I got the feeling we were being watched......................
I look behind me, and standing there silently like a statue was this...........................just stood there for about 20 minutes without moving.
I assumed we had set up camp in the path of its favorite trail, and it didn't know what to make of us.

We set up camp to the right in this picture when we came to this stream and didn't want to chance crossing it.

I love setting up camp next to streams... Though sometimes, especially up north, that can increase the number of flying biting assholes buzzing around.

We finally came to a rest in this camp spot after 325 miles of dirt riding . The last pic is the view from the other direction. 20180624_071934.jpg

Dawn. Three of us camped here, I am to the far left, in the grass.

I typically don't use a tent just a ground sheet or bivvy bag. The grass is my mattress.
Here it didn't matter, but often staying out of sight means a good night's rest.

Somewhere in Alaska. Like someone posted earlier, the tarps were almost a must. In this case we got the tarps set up just before the rain started. Dry place to eat, pack up or set up!
