I like that alot, really wanting to get a Redverz solo and ditch the backpacking tent now that I'm looking at having vertebrae fused in my lower back. Do you have any pictures of it packed down and on the bike? I tried an Atacama and it was ridiculous.

I always free camp, it makes the trip more interesting and I am frugal, born that way. Here are a few photos on my current trip riding down from Alaska.
Around the back of the gas station at Toc with the RVs. Normally I camp just down the road at the Tanana bridge.
    P1010201 (1).JPG

The next night I camped next to the bridge at Teslin.
    P1010202.JPG

I made it to the bottom of the Cassiar next day.
    P1010203 (1).JPG

Next day I had problems just south of Quesnel, the rear drive side wheel bearing failed, but I was soon back on the road and camped at a rest stop.

Late next afternoon I crossed the border at Sumas, I had made it down to the Lower 48.

Go Buell! I love seeing Uly's on here! I relegated mine to commuting this year and toured around on my KLX. Next summer I think I may break loose on my Buell for a looooonnnnngggg road trip!

I thought I had been sprung by the cops, laying snug and warm in my tent behind some trailers on an otherwise vacant lot at Lynden when a car pulls up with lights flashing. Oh well, let them make the 1st move, I just layed there doggo, waiting for something to happen, I thought they might have been waiting for backup, the mind is a terrible thing, waiting, waiting, waiting for the footsteps and the flashlight on the tent. But nothing happened, in the end they just drove off, it may have been an escort vehicle for an overwidth load or something, I drifted back to sleep.

I like camping at truck stops, there is food and water, people coming and going, and usually no bears to trigger my imagination. This was a good spot just north of Kalispell.
    P1010218.JPG

Last night I camped just north of Missoula. All for free, I'm a liberty camper.

Update : Next morning I received an email from a guy in Kettle Falls who was interested in buying the Buell, by evening it was sold and I was travelling by foot.

Hi, yes I like the Buell, it's a fun bike. I would love to take it back home to Australia, but unless the bike importer is your best mate it's more or less impossible, he has to provide a compliance certificate, our country is so bureaucratic, like so many others, so it's on the market.

Ya'll ever get the creeps or worried doing this? I really need to get over the fear of that. I know its dumb, but its there. I look at all these pictures and it looks so awesome. But I get there I'm all like...what if someone finds me or what the hell was that noise?

I'll be in upstate New York in a few weeks and would like to give this a shot.
