That is such a slick job on the engine I didn’t even notice at first and I owned a Z1 from new! The guy is a genius.

Unfortunately I had a friend that would match that stone, 1954-1971. H1A went into a high speed wobble around 100mph on a then new section of interstate. RIP, Bob.

Unfortunately, I can relate to that. I had the same thing happen to me but I was able to walk away from it. Plenty of scars though. My '73 had a steering damper but it didn't do much. Sorry to hear about your friend.

I lost my friend to the H1A and another flipping a Jeep. Happened within a week of each other right out of high school. Both of them, had they lived, would have grown into been fine young men. I still think of them and the sorrow of their parents.

I also had an H1A but was a bit more cautious (not that I was exempt from doing dumb stuff).

I had a KH400 triple. Rode it for 2 years. Sold it because I knew I would either lose my license or my life. I stuck to racing MX. It was safer.

At the back of our lot at work we have some storage containers that are stored below a freeway bridge.
We have homeless kids living under there and on Saturday night one of them broke into a container and set it on fire.
    There was a casualty.

I always find it amusing that whenever I ride my DS7 around, there's always someone who has to tell me all about "the guy they knew who died on one of those Kawasaki 3 stroke bikes".
And yes, 90% of them actually say "Kawasaki 3 stroke"

    Wow.
I was so wrong to see this Milliard fellow as simply building multi-cylinder variants.

You shouldn’t discount that bit at all, he casts his own parts, and as someone else mentioned you almost don’t even notice that his bikes are different.

    Check out his lawnmower!

I took the ‘69 Honda CL350 out for a nice spin today. First ride of the year without a jacket. Old bike is running great, as usual...

Not sure if this counts as vintage, but it’s all I got. Kickstart at least. It is still way fun to ride.

    Fellows, his skills are uncontested.
Point is that those skills are applied with years of repetition.
    His early builds are vintage.
    It's a familiar formula.
