This was yesterday, looking for a little village in the middle of the mountains, but I couldn´t find the correct road even with the gps, so I take a few photos instead. I love this bike!
i love your bike too, it also looks really light more photos required!!!!! it just looks ready to jump on and have a great time
Hello, I will arrive home on friday, I'll post more photos, now I'm working and only have crap internet in my phone. The bike goes really well now but take me a lot of time to make it work, suspension, exhaust, brakes... lots of things for an amateur mecanic.
i had spotted the forks and the 2 into 1 but not the brakes you ve done a good job....for an amateur mechanic!!!
Thank you! Front fork and wheel are from an YZ450F '09 with a 320mm brake disc, but the caliper is oem XT Brembo so I had to make a caliper relocation bracket (but this was with professional help!). The forks are revalved and with 0.54 springs. The exhaust is from MetalMule mixed with LeoVince silencer. It has Power Commander, custom map, BMC filter, and drilled airbox.
Does anyone know how much roughly a second hand good set of the Yamaha GYTR pipes would be for the "r" model? cant seem to find an a rough price
Yes, mine´s similar to PeteNZ´s, but I´m waiting for new modifications... Meanwhile, some pics of my latest ride to Guadalajara (not Mexico, but Spain).
I've busted a taillight. I think it is too heavy to be bouncing through potholes, can you tell me where you got that tiny neat looking tail light and number plate holder?
Hi Guys, I'm new in this Forum and based in Austria, in the midst of the southeast Alpine ranges. My bike is an '07 XT660R with quite a bit of modifications and some 54.000km on it. So far it took me to places as far up north as Lapland in Sweden and Norway and down south to Naples and the Amalfi Coast. @Blakduk Maybe you'd be happy with one of these, that's what I've mounted on mine: http://www.kedo.com/products/30815/1/1.html That's the view from behind: Here are some pics, would be great to hear some feedback on them
No mods, except the missing side panel (:huh I don't know the name in English) after a tumble (in other day ) My wife and our XT at Canyon Guartelá, in Castro city, Paraná State, Brazil Tyres Mitas E-09
I bought my taillight in a local shop, I think is from a spanish brand, Vicma if i remember well. It´s made for enduro bikes and cost me 20. Anyway, i had to reinforce it with a sheet of metal to avoid too much bouncing.
LuxVega, I like your bike, it have clever modifications without going mad like PeteNZ or me. I can see a DNA Stage 2 and OTR 2into1, do you have a Power Commander? Any power figures?
