I'm ready to go again, yall!
Frosty! ... I want to watch you and that GSA1200 go places I never thought they could "again"!
That was a BLAST!
See you at the Tennessee Discovery Rally in two weeks and some change ... WooHoo!
I love your post ... "quote"
"Riding a motorcycle doesn't call to everyone. It carries a level of risk that is an anathema to most. It demands a level of competence, a degree of engagement that is unusual in today's society. Like an old craft, the skills and the wisdom necessary to be successful at it doesn’t come quickly, but emerges slowly, over time. Most people today simply don't have the patience or the inclination to deal with that sort of thing.
But for those of us who do, to that tiny minority who are drawn to it, the rewards are immeasureable. For us, riding imbues life itself with color, tinges it with adventure. It connects us to a time when people weren't perhaps quite so shy about how they lived. A time when everything wasn't a careful, exacting calculus of risk and reward. A bolder time when a fear of getting hurt didn't stand as an impenetrable shield to the simple enjoyment of life.
So, yeah, those of us who ride are definitely different. But it's a good difference. We carry something that once was common but now is rare. Something of the distilled essence of what got us all here.
We're the last wolves, in a land of sheep."

*** I found this on a friends fb page.
Yes sir! It'll be here before we know it! I'll be leading the beginner group but that doesn't mean I won't be tackling the hill climbs! I just hope I have at least one hooligan in my group with me
I think I qualify for both.
That was a FUN ride ... Thanks Sammy and Jon for putting it on!
Looks like we are going to adding this loop to our annual rides.
Jon and Sammy are tweeting it for the next go!
TENNESSEE SOUTHERN DISCOVERY
Rally was a blast this past weekend. It rained while we slept which knocked off all the dust for our ride.
The dirt was just right for speed and sliding around corners
This was one of the best days I've ridden out there. For a group of different skill levels we were riding at a pretty spirited pace from start to finish.
I didn't take many pictures, but here are a few good ones...
I clocked about 300 miles over the weekend. Good fun, good company.
Looking forward to the next opportunity.
Excellent Pictures ... I have one burned in my brain of the mud on my face shield from your back tire.
That was so fun! I even kept up with you some when you were stuck in traffic ... HA!
Jon said his computer has been loading footage from your Saturday ride all night ... I can't wait to see it!
Don't forget to cover your kill switch
