That night we had a really cool dinner, everything is oven type dishes for 2.

Next day we caught an Uber out to a small wine region about 20 mins from town and rented push bikes to do our own tour. The bike company reccomended by the hotel were awesome planned out the day with a map and times of tours and tasting and places for lunch.

We attempted to stay longer in Mendoza but with our accomodation booked out for the next 4 days we decided it was time to leave.... we attempted to book flights to Santiago but had issues online so off we went to a travel agent, almost $500us for both of us to fly, no thanks. So after both swearing not to take another long distance bus ride especially overnight looks like we are, $25 each, 11pm departure with a 7am arrival and a 3am immigration in the Andes.

With that sorted we decided to head out for our final real meal in Argentina....

This place looks like it should work.

With a premium bottle of wine total price for lunch was $45, we are going to miss this country.

We then did a tour of the winery and headed back to town.

The bus ride to Santiago was better than the last and we managed to get some sleep. We head to our accom which was an apartment, the owner came and met us and in part English part Spanish we found out he owns a Vstrom and has sold bikes to some travellers heading north. Super nice guy.

We spent 5 days in Santiago and we didn't really get up to much, we did some shopping for home as some stuff was cheaper and we just wondered the city. We cooked most of the meals in the apartment and started to adjust to home life.

    Local neighbourhood has cool graffiti.

And then the time came, it was time to go home, we flew home with Latam airline, they were really good. It is a 14 hour direct flight home from Santiago.

My parents picked us up from the airport and we went to stefs family's house for a nice family dinner. It's good to be home.
