Good timing, we both had our first day back at work today. Work was fantastic with our returns, both had meetings last week and they were both really happy for our return and had done a lot of work around organising everything.

We spent the last few weeks just organising things and spending time with family. We spent some time in the country in a town called Echuca where my grandfather lives, he sadly passed away last week why we were up there.

We adjusting pretty well, we are not back into our house for another 6 weeks so are staying with stefs parents.

Hi all. So we are back to "normal life", we are back in our house now and have just put ourselves up on Tentspace, so hope to see you soon.

We both have back at work for around 3 months and are both enjoying it but sure would rather be doing what we were doing last year and are always thinking about what the next escape looks like....

Hope everyone is well and if anyone has questions just let us know.

    Josh and Stef

Wow Josh and Stef...amazing. I have few words.....I just read and laughed and smiled. The last couple of pics with you guys hugging the bike made me go "Ahhhhh" out loud! Colleen looks up....."what's wrong!"

Stef ought to write a pamphlet....'How to pack for a year and still look fabulous'

You guys are WAY too cute!

like @TUCKERS said, stef did a fantastic job looking her best for having such a limited luggage....:clap

thanks for giving us an update. i always thought long-term travelers will never go back to the work force.

We both thought we could never have done what we did, take a year off and travel now we both can’t think of not doing it again. It might be 10 or 20 years but it will happen again for sure.

Yeah we both have settled back into work pretty nicely and both of our employers are happy to have us back and our careers have not suffered from being away which has been amazing.

Stef will generally send me each day a msg telling me where we were last year....

    Hey Josh & (Stef)
Loved your ride report, certainly whet my appetite for South American travels.
I was wondering if you ever managed to put a detailed budget of your travels together?

    Cheers MF

What a way to spend the last few evenings, reading about an amazing adventure with orsm pictures to boot.
Not sure its not all a fairy tale though. Someone that's scared to climb a ladder, Josh, did all this?
There's only one way this fairy tale could ever have happened, well done Stef. :-)
I take me hat off to you both, well done.
Only one thing left to do now. :D
