My favorite report so far
But the Borneo ride report following the equator keep me on the edge of my seat with a few OMG's.
I also enjoyed it. Regular updates, lots of photos, pretty epic ride.
They meet on the TAT & tell some great tales, ride some epic stuff (Moab)...ok, I'll stop with the spoilers & nominate:
"Financial Suicide: A new life behind bars"
I believe there is a code to eliminate all the crap & only see the original poster's posts, and Iwould appreciate it if someone could tell me what it is.
Here you go, decrufter link.
Cheers BN & Merry Christmas & lots of good riding in the New Year to everyone
Hey, I just thought this should be bumped forward, so we have an easy way to find some of the great ride reports of the past.
I love reading new reports, but there are some gems in the archives that we don't want to lose.
My hands down favorite is Tourist's.
Uralistan: Bishkek to Kabul
Solo on a 40 year old Ural through the Stans. Simply amazing.
For new stories, Lightcycle has the best at the moment. Great narration, photos and humor.
Quit our jobs, sold our home, gone riding...
2 New Englanders in Baja Rally. They just got back so there probably will be more lies & photo-shopped content added...
Great job guys & crew!
I want to link a report to a friend of mine, but I'm finding it impossible to find. I haven't read it in a couple of years
Young guy on a Goldwing, who rode across the States and then went up into Alaska. he was short (no offense) and liked the beers.
There was some insane ramp he had to ride the wing down off of, after being picked up by a large truck. He picked Berries with some hippies...let a homeless guy sleep in the back of his rented pickup in Alaska...
ring any bells?
I believe he disapeared after the report, he was a very good writer though.
Glad this was bumped or I never would have seen this.
Awesome, much appreciated.
It is a great thread. I've only scratched the surface of it. I don't make it very far before I get sidetracked in one RR or another. I think i'm on page two
If your thinking about a group ride down in Baja now that weather is nearing perfecto, read this. All 10 team members contributed, GPS tracks and mega photo bombs.
Bookmarked! Fantastic. Thank you.
