One thing I forgot to mention

I left air in my container after filling it and when I got to Skagway and it was sunny and warm :eek1



It didn't leak or vent fumes even so the cap seals really well.

I think the answer is, after filling it, get the cap started on the threads and then gently squeeze the bag to get all the air you can out.

My reasoning is that the less air there is in it, the less it will expand.

I just loosened the cap a bit and let the air out, then tightened the cap again.
No more obvious expansion.

Open that slowly.

With no smokers near by!

I'm fairly certain the gas will vaporize as it warms up anyway thus filling the extra space in the bag.
