@Dirt2007 Any chance the 400 is up for grabs this trip? I had to send off my rear wheel to Warp9 and am thinking maybe I need a backup plan in case I don’t get it back in time.

I have this. It doesn't fit the 300 but will fit yours with a few spacers and longer bolts from Ace Hardware.

    You're welcome to it.

BTW if you have a grab handle that bolts to the muffler mounting points already. This fits right between the handle and spacers.....

If anyone needs a bike to ride I have a YZ250 for sale just 45 minutes East of Little Sahara. I have a paddle on a spare wheel I can throw in to sweeten the deal :)

If the weather is nice I'll take the short cruise over and introduce myself.

I also have several whips and a flag mount (bolts to seat mount and through a hole your drill in your fender) that anyone is welcome to use if you need one. If you are coming from Tulsa you will be driving within a couple blocks of my house on the way through so you could pick it up on the way by and drop it off on the way home.

Weather depending, I'm sure @dewey405 will want some company.

Hope I don't need a paddle tire because I simply don't want to change the damn thing.

It’s gotta be mounted high to be legal. Don’t mess around with an axle mount.

Paddle tires are optional. I was there in November and didn't want to dick around with changing the brand new rear tire I just put on so I didn't and it worked just fine. Dakar racers don't swap tires for the dunes, why should we?

In my experience, success on knobby tires depends on the moisture content (and temp) of the sand. Dry and warm sand is far less fun.

That zenxten mount looks like it should work. I wish there were some unreliable reviews I could really on. Are related so universal that any will work? Can i use a Walmart bicycle flag or do I need one with a fox logo? Where to begin?

Top of the flag has to be 10ft off the ground to be legal.... They sell 8 footers at the store for about 30$.

A tent pole repair kit or a coat hanger and duct tape will get you legal just in case....

Im making a mount at work this week that clamps to the silencer.. Let me know and I can knock up a few extra...

    Aircraft quality........:deal

On this... If you show up with a mount and a 1/2" hole (maybe 5/8 to be sure), you can buy a flag & pole on site.
