Some quotes from the 2016 LDR...
" I enjoyed Riverside, a nice place to relax. And no bogans tearing around in their 4wd's, which I come across too often.
If at riverside next year I might be able to persuade Linda to come."

"The Campbells seemed pretty calm up to the time I passed out. "

"I vote for the same place next year, great hosts, grass to camp on, quiet apart from the drunken adventure bike hoons."

"Calm Campbells, that's what I like to hear."

" Opens up some options for consecutive weekends of Touring de Westvic as there'll be some recce work to be done for the DSMRA ride."

"Great vid, who was that sook on the DR650?, his right knee puffs up to twice the size of his left knee so he pulls the pin and go's home, piss weak :lol3 ... knees OK now, was a bit worried there for a while, thought that I may have to give up my ballet lessons. :happay"

Same weekend as DSMRA AGM in Murrayville.
We'll be heading south down the Border Track Saturday as far as Red Bluff. Will keep an eye out for oncoming traffic!

Sorry chook, unfortunately the original date clashed with a kinder garden photoshoot weekend and a ski club had the joint booked out too, bring the dsmra hoons down to Dim for an overnighter on the locally brewed moonshine. Got a few starters?

    Got about 20 odd.
Doubt we would make it to Dimboola without a broomwagon in tow as I suspect not a lot will have proper sized tanks.

Were doing a recce on the Thursday before if your interested.

I am a pretty certain starter for this one again and will try to rustle up the rest of the Campbell Clan.

D'Oh. Date clashes. Two other things to choose from! But I reckon LDR is probably favorite, so if I can ride by then......

Bring your enduro bikes boys and girls; I plan on riding some of this stuff again that weekend (not far from Dimboola, LOTS of really fun single track):

Awesome! Be great to ride with you again Dick. Really enjoyed that Queens Birthday ride weekend with you blokes. I've got some pretty sweet new stuff to show you all in the Grampians next time you're up here. :D:thumbup

C'mon harden up Marra, I'm testing the new mesh today riding the 990 to Adelaide to get it serviced Monday. Might pop out to Tungkillo tomorrow to catch a bit of rock hopping action at the SA trials championships. Will drive out there though because weather sounds suss.

You're in charge of the Hard Chargers Tori, can you lead a ride or two in the scrub & single tracks?

Went thru the Big Desert last Tuesday..it bucketed down rain at Nhill Tuesday arvo, so I parked on the footpath and waited..rain stopped about 2 hrs later so I took off up the Nhill Murrayville Rd, but a few kms in to the park it was greasy as, so I backtracked and camped at the Red Bluff intersection. Next morning after a windy night it was not too bad, and got better as I went north .

Went straight past this...wasnt't tempted at all.. DSCN0238.JPG

That's a very misleading picture of the border track . Seriously soft deep sand down further
Little desert tracks can be similar in places , not a problem on an endure bike tho
