South Island Marlborough Nelson 7 day adv ride route? Late October we want to ride sth island. Any thoughts of what roads we could do over 7 days? Remote moto is probably the best resource but any locals have suggestions, roads, craft beer pubs, camping spots. Cheers. This bike is for sale
Be best to ask in the local or trip planning thread rather than filling up this thread with stuff other than ride reports.

I followed it up by completing the Four Points (write-up in a few weeks once had aftermatch & prizegiving).
Ended up with doing just under 4,700km in 7 days.

Banks Peninsula trip on my new (rebuilt) 350 exc-f
Hi All, Rick Connoly from Canada here.
Can someone point me to some easy two-track off-road trails that I can take my novice 14 yr old niece on, in the Taupō area?
I have been married to a Kiwi from Taupō for over 20 years and we return every year for Christmas or shortly after.
I have few nieces that I have known all their lives and one of them, a 14 yr old is rather good riding her little Honda around the family farm.
My wife and I will be back in NZ in January and it Uncle Rick's job to find some interesting little day rides we can go exploring on.
I will have access to a Ute, tailer and an adult size dirt bike, so we are cool with driving to a trail or track in the area.
Thanks in advance for any advice and recommendations.
Pureora Forest, west of Taupo has pretty good public access compared to much of NZ. A mix of gravel roads and 4wd tracks.
A little further afield is a myriad of tracks of various difficulty on the northern side of Lake Rotoiti, access off Rotoehu Rd.
Also, search 'Pureora' on Youtube, will give you some idea.
