I thought when this all started I requested a Mountain View suite not an ocean view
Btw do we need to contact for camping spots?

Raleigh Road last fall. Enjoy your ride. I’ll keep an eye on this thread to see where you guys are at. I grew up in Magnolia area, in the heart of these hills.

Am I the only one who feels that garmin could use a user interface expert?

Anyways, I should have everything updated before Friday :baldy

I also went through the terrible Garmin interface Sunday for a while. I had them all in my 595 before I found out I could only turn on 16 tracks at once. I took quite a few of the individual tracks in the original GPX file and made one compiled track. It's not as clean as the original gpx file but gets the point across. If you want the condensed files let me know and I can send them tonight.

I will just follow you and orangecicle :p I had so many updates to do, and hadn't cleaned anything off since last year.

I’m in the same boat and discovered that limitation last night. I would like them if you can send them or post them. Thanks!

If I haven't mentioned it, I recommend getting to the Loess Hills Hideaway by taking the road that comes in from the south -- Plum Ave. The other way, coming from Hwy 183 and then on to Peach Ave., was very soft and powdery the last time I went through. YMMV. :thumb

    Mandatory Riders Meeting!

Yeah, there's not one. The rules are as follows:

    1. Anticipate photographic moments, and act on them.
    2. People live here, so . . .
    3. Don't be an asshat. :asshat
    4. Groups of three to four work well. More than that and there's too much dust.
    5. Every person in a group should wait at every intersection until the person behind them reaches the intersection. Then you can move forward. This makes sure that no one gets lost . . . or left behind.
    344428fec5c81dc302f2e535cc540b0d.jpg
    6. Group up so that more than one person can navigate. Nobody likes to navigate all day, and nobody likes to follow all day.
    7. Expect dust, so bring goggles and/or a Buff or comparable substitute (lady's underwear I hear works well, but see Rule #1).
    8. Ride staggered when riding inline on pavement. Otherwise, see rule #1. If you violate Rule #3 while violating Rule #8, see Rule #1.

Waaay too late for that, my friend. Way too late. By the way, this

is not on the route. But, @Brek81 did take it. Props to anyone who can (1) identify it, (2) know where it is, and/or (3) take pictures of it on the way to the Loess Hills. (@Brek81 excluded).

The amazing artist should be proud that when I tried to cheat and do a reverse image search...I just got hundreds of pictures of trees.

Sadly I'm taking the bike in the truck, so I would be disqualified anyways. We ought to find more weird stuff.
