    New ADV Tents are shipping today! So much hard work!

    Those that have pre-ordered them will receive an email with tracking details in the coming days.

    We will send out to the guys that are going on a trip this month first, then the rest.

    We are running with a new more scalable distribution company to get products faster to customers doorsteps, so let's hope sending out these tents goes smoothly.

    Any problems with shipping, best to contact Anna on anna@lonerider-motorcycle.com she knows more about it than I do, international logistics is a wild beast for sure.

    So yesterday we shipped out to the gentleman that are heading out for a trip soon. Today we moved the first batches, but must be careful not to mess up shipping, its frustrating getting the wrong order.

    Let me know all of your order numbers and I will get them pushed to the top tomorrow.

    Cheers

    Thanks: @Bike Guy 43103 shipped today so tracking no. Should arrive soon.

    @Coastalcop 43410 shipped yesterday, again will take a moment for the tracking to populate. Often it's already on the way before tracking is sent. Will remember your inmate name ;)

    I really didn’t expect to have it in time for my first spring camp when I ordered, but now I’m going to be a happy camper!

    Season has started! The winter makes one forget... Remember the first rule of camping, put up the tent before you start drinking :freaky

    Just an FYI, I asked Andrew the weight of the racks and bags as I'd not weighed them before install. I wanted to know so I could tally the total weight of bike packed vs the GVW. Here's his reply in the off chance someone else would benefit from this, thanks Andrew and pass the thanks along to Anna as well for me/us here.

    RACKS:
    1. BMW F800GS ADV Weight:3.82kgs
    2. KTM1190 ADV Weight:3.46kg
    3. BMW R1200GS 2013+ Weight:3.24kgs
    4. HONDA CRF1000 Weight:3.64kgs
    5. YAMAHA XT1200 Weight:2.86kgs

    MOTOBAGS:

    6kg each
    ________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    I've worked up the numbers for mine in US pounds. 2012 R1200GS

    Update after hearing from Andrew at Lone Rider

    Max weight = 992
    Left bag=30
    right bag=30
    racks=7
    me=180
    passenger=125+10 in gear/kit
    bike=525
    camping gear=23
    Bags empty=13 per

    946#'s total, 36#'s below stated gvw on the 12GS1200. 3.6% below recommended max weight on bike. Close, but there's room to spare in the bags.

    Anna stated each bag was tested to 60#'s of kit, but LR recommends 30# max per which I'll hold to or below. Riding one up, I'll be 17% below recommended max weight. It's unlikely I'll have a passenger, but needed to figure that number into whether I'd be over or at recommended gvw.

    30KG max per bag!!

    We tested them to see how much they will hold. It is NOT recommended to ride with heavy loads. The bags will hold under reasonable conditions under this weight. The problem is the handling of the bike with weight, to much weight or the wrong distribution of weight can cause undesired handling results. Overloading is dangerous!

    Our bags can take a load of max 30KG. But it is important to load within the recommended weight of the racks and motorcycle manufacturers specifications
