Just did your form on Google. I looked at a TON of tank bags before getting one, and some of my chief complaints were the lack of effective (and simplistic - nobody wants to use a roll top bag inside of a zippered tank bag) waterproofing and the odd features that a lot of them had for their respective price points. I've had my eyes on one of your tents for some time, and one thing that you guys seem to have nailed is keeping things simple and not over-designing. Having a simple tank bag that does a few things very well is far better than one that does a ton of things poorly. Make it waterproof, make it have a few good features, make it work well without any messing around, and you'll have a winner.

A little campout shakedown of my gear before my cross country trip...
    Tent erects quickly without fuss
Deceptively roomy and comfortable especially given the temps/humidity and barrage of Florida’s state birds...aka mosquitos

Like a little late... But yer, a power cord like @Fosters or why I made it is for a Packsafe Cable system to lock the gear in the tent. I did this in Africa and it worked a treat. Check out my video why: (Skip to 14:30min)

Any update on quick connect/disconnect mounting kits for our Motobags? Looking for my 38/41 bags on a 2019 R1250 GSA with OEM racks. Have 6k miles on them and love them, but miss being able to quickly put them on and take them off. Thanks.

Yes, so I am working on that now. There are a million ways to attach it and 99% work but not perfect. Once I finish the design, will post here for some feedback.

One thing I will do is make them backward compatible. All the holes are in the correct places. Reach out if you need any updates, will be ready soon

Just a suggestion, for consideration on the connect/disconnect of the bags. Another thin plate that quickly attaches to the present bag mounting plate, that has the quick dismount hardware to the racks?

I am making them backwards compatible for sure. Not 100% sure if the new system needs the current Alu backplate. When I have some 3D drawings I'll post them here for some feedback

The backing plates can be removed from the bags by the average rider? Hmm, instructions will be necessary for me.

    Thanks

    The last MotoBags presale

The MotoBags are out of stock again! Totally out of stock.

There has been a huge demand and we did not expect it.

The next batch of MotoBags will be ready in October.

We are launching the last of the MotoBags pre-sales. That’s it.

It is the last chance to grab some MotoBags at a pre-sale price.

Why is that the last pre-sale?

Because after that, we will have continuous production and the MotoBags will always be in stock. We finally managed to scale.

    Anyhow…

Here is the discount code (to be used at checkout):

    MOTOBAGS2019

750 Euros instead of 897 Euros, plus free shipping. That’s $841 (US dollars) instead of $1006, plus free shipping worldwide.

Valid till the 24th of July only.

The bags will be delivered to you in October.

Here is the link to the pre-sale: https://lonerider-motorcycle.com/discount/MOTOBAGS2019?redirect=/products/motobags

20190801_195415.jpg Here's a picture of the back of the bike with the Lone Rider semi rigid soft bags. I received more reflective strips I ordered from LR the other day, added a second strip to both bags from and rear.
