As every year we are on our way further south and we are looking for a way to store our bikes for 10-12 month in Northern Chile.
We need to suspend our Tvip too for this time.

I think there is still la zona franka?

Every tip to store the bikes and to skip the TVIP would be helpful.

    Thanks a lot guys

DON'T SKIP the TVIP , its a very expensive fine, storage is easy.

I paid an extremely stiff fine for leaving my bike in Chile for nearly four years—much longer than my TVIP permitted.

I don’t know if it’s possible to extend a Chilean TVIP, but I do know that it’s possible in Peru. Toby Shannon of Around the Block Moto Adventures can assist. Here’s the link: http://www.aroundtheblockmotoadventures.com

    Thanks for your advice guys!
I need to apologize for my bad English.
We meed to suspend the TVIP

To store the bikes un northern Chile would be a better choice for us to proceed south.
Our bike are now at Toby. I can highly recommend it. It took only a half day and the staff is great.
If we can not get an option in Chile we store our bikes a second time with Toby.
But it's a long ride on the same route.

    Thanks again for your information
