Some friends and I are looking to go check it out this coming weekend.

The Name of the place Is The Maple Ridge Wind Farm.

From the searching I did, it seems to be a bit spread out.

So if anyone has a waypoint or something where there is a good view of the windmills,

    Please Share! :D

    Thank you !

Can't give you a waypoint or anything but a good place/view is at Flat Rock Inn. You can see most of the turbines from there. From route 26 in Martinsburg take Flat Rock road up the hill and you will know when you get there.

Just went on Mapsource and manualy found the co-ords this should get you real close.

I don't know if the visitors center is open yet but there is/will be one.

Oh, I forgot... If you are going to take pictures try and plan arriving eary in the morning. If you luck out it will be foggy and you can get some cool pics in the fog. The light changes throughout the day so you may want to plan on hanging around. Best photos seem to be early or late in the day when the sun is at a steeper angle and the light is yellow/orange reflecting off of the blades.

From the co-ordinates I gave you you should be able to get some good shots with the Adirondack High Peaks in the distance.

I will have to check that out when we are up checking in on Mom and Dad over the holiday. I went to school up north of there and use to play with helicopters and stuff at Fort Drum.

    Thanks.

    What Holiday?

I will be at my camp just after the July 4th Holiday. I am just 9-10 miles South of the wind farm by trail. Let me know when you are going to be in the area.
