Headed up to the PNW Summer opener based in Randle, WA at the end of the month, hoping people have some good loops put together they wouldn't mind sharing!

I haven't decided if I'm bringing the Beta 390 or the KTM 1190R yet, so open to tracks for any size bike, and I'll make my decision from there. I know the WABDR runs through that area, but I'd like something a little more challenging than that.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I might try to make it out there this weekend, not sure what my plans are yet. How are the trails in Umatilla? Are people riding Sunday?

The trails out there are a lot of fun. This riding area is probably my favorite in Oregon at the moment. The trails are not overly technical and the scenery is fantastic.
Yes, there will be some people riding on Sunday.
I am booting up my personal laptop right now, looking for some gpx tracks for you.

Here is a fun dual sport loop. It goes up to a cave (can't remember the name), then up to the lookout at the top of Burley Mountain. The other dual sport tracks I have for the area are the WABDR. Let me know if you have any questions.

Either you're a savage, or you haven't ridden some of the more challenging trails out there. Medium+ technical, and some super high exposure stuff that up's the pucker factor. Super fun.

I think he was referring to the stuff in Umatilla he’s riding this weekend. Could be wrong though…

Also, just read your ride report from there. Sounds like a hell of a weekend, and man do those trails look sweet!

I was referring to the trails at Winom Frazier OHV, not the Gifford Pinchot.

I am not a savage, and yes, mega pucker factor on some of the stuff in the Gifford. Above my pay grade for sure.

Sorry, misread that. Remember thinking how easily someone might end up in a situation they couldn't ride out of if they didn't know what they were getting into out there.

I'm going to be in this area in a few weeks. Is this loop big bike friendly (I'm on a Tiger 800XCx and my friend will be on an Africa Twin 1000)?
