I'm taking a family trip this winter - the rough plan is to be in Essaouira for about a month (mid Jan to Mid Feb) with my wife and 9 year old son. I'm looking for any insight about local guides and rentals - I'm interested in as much dirt as possible and ideally would also be able to rent all of the gear as we're travelling all winter and I was hoping to not have to haul boots/jacket/helmet etc, from Canada. I have the green light to do a multi-day tour... Suggestions??
Hi, I was touring with an awesome company Wheels of Morocco (www.wheelsofmorocco.net) they have BMW bikes, we did some off-road but mainly tarmac, as moroccan roads are surprisingly well maintained. They can rent you full gear/GPS/panniers as well.
