It would cool to meet up somewhere around South Royalton and maybe go out into Tunbridge Chelsea area.

I live in Burlington and have been itching it hit more dirt roads seeing as I just got an r1100gs going. I know a few other people in the area with smaller adv bikes as well.

Figured I’d bump this up on the eve of a March snow storm. Some of you guys have been able to sneak out for a ride in the last couple weeks with the mild temps and disappearing snow. Now for another few weeks of winter I guess before we can get out there?

If I had a beater-bike, I'd have been out already. If I had studded wheels on a beater bike, I'd be out on Mascoma riding around all winter (well it fully froze over by 12/20). But I have a big ass over souped expensive bike so I'm still being weak about it.

I'm hoping to get out on the 20th....depends on how fast this crap tomorrow melts.

I know a couple people who have gotten out already. I was thinking about going for a ride, but then I saw trucks salting after the last dusting of snow and thought otherwise.

Well, this fresh foot of snow is certainly messing with my anticipated early season riding!

It’s going fast here too. Hopefully a nice light rain tonight into tomorrow takes a bunch more and rinses the roads at the same time!

I live in Royalton and would love to show off our many local big bike friendly class 3 gravel roads.

I'm still in process on my annual for the '46....heads are off, tanks off, carb is off, wheels are off. I'd better get going....saw our first robin this week and heard a red wing blackbird last week!

I'm looking to do some riding on Saturday. You interested in showing me the Royalton area then? Last fall several of us started a ride in your town and then went north to Chelsea. It was a great time on some good gravel roads and some not so good but very enjoyable. I'd very much would like to explore more of your area and would like the company.

It has been a long winter. Got out for a bit last Tuesday. Roads were cleaner than I expected. This week's rain will help. Here's to a good 2018!

A little early for me. Roads are still covered in salt and my drive way is a mud pit.. Rain check on that though.
