yes......all legal roads when we were on it the last time.......a couple of spots that a 4x4 truck will need big tires and ground clearance to get through

    you'll have a GREAT time!

Planning to ride this route later this year. 250 dual sports with knobbies. Kentucky was fun, figured this would be a good weekend ride closer to home.

All LNs are great, but I'm not sure how much better you can get than the Eminence LN at Echo Bluff. Get those trax and you'll have a great ride with excellent facilities.

Rode some of that loose nut couple years back solo, lots of downed trees, but interesting routes. Might do that one again. Never done the shawnee one, and love that area.

When my DR350S is reliable, I'm a southern Illinois dude who will be in for some of that stuff.

Enjoyed my first complete ride of this "east Sunday" loop yesterday, May 26, 2020.

Left out of Goreville approximately 0900. Parked behind the pharmacy in town. Arrived back 220 miles later at 1630. Stopped a few times but was mainly riding.

I've ridden the first say sixty miles of it before but never every mile.

It was a great loop. I filled up at 46 miles at Mitchellsville store. I did not find gas in cave in Rock. The FS looked like the pumps were pulled.

I'm using that as my excuse for not riding Bushwhack Rd. That and the color on my map made it look like the track I'd already ridden. Couldn't figure it out. Solo and low on fuel not a bad deal to skip it.

Few pictures below. Thanks Loose Nut for the tracks.

Can identify location of most of your pics, but do not recognized the concrete steps and sagging bridge. Where might that be?

You probably went right by my house on Battleford Road. I would have enjoyed riding with you but other duties took precedence. It was a great day for a ride. Did you make it to Elizabethtown? Not sure, but think the floating restaurant may be open for business there. Great fish and unique setting.

I didn't turn down to Elizabethtown, that's when I had fuel concerns.

I crossed your road several times if I recall correctly.

    Great riding over your way.

Plan to be back soon and maybe try the fish place, at least slide into town.

Will it was wet today. Rode sunday tracks, late start in rain. By burden falls very wet. Hit impassable crossing bottom tom dick hill. Creek up, mud holes deep and that hill was something. Tyrned back and headed for lunch and warmth. After leaving a couple quarts of water on saloon floor, headed over to shortcut at galconda. Fellow rider had enough at gas station. Will have to try again. Wondering what the saturday route will look like tomorrow after full day of rain.

What a difference a day makes. Weather was beautiful for the running of the sat tracks. Very late start today waiting for fellow rider to show up and pack up camp. Got in most of the sat am tracks before having to continue on home. What a gorgeous set of tracks. Will be back to run the rest.
