While traveling in SE Indiana a few years back I was thinking that I would want to return to ride some of the areas I saw on the motorcycle. I have bicycled other parts of the state (TRIRI and Hilly Hundred; New Harmonie) so it this may be the next ride to visit with a moto. :clap

I've ridden these SE IN gravel roads for the past 40 years and have plenty of tracks that I'd share :deal Keep me in mind when you start planning the route. Plenty of creek crossings in this area that get to deep to cross after a heavy rain, so go-arounds are suggested.

Wow-----that is so great----that firewood thing was really worrying me-------you can't have a camping ride without a fire----no way. Especially when it will be 17° at night :huh:huh:huh:huh:huh:huh:eek1:eek1:wink:

thank you, than you thank you !!!!

Thank You! Thank You! Hoooohraaaaah for RedBirdStation! The other evening MrsLooseNut made some bean soup........she wanted to know if it was as good as RedBird's.........it was delicious but still not quite there. Friday evening Hackrman and me are headed to Madison for the first "official" scouting run.....might be taking the truck just to have maps and notes easily accessible......specially if the weather is questionable. we probably wont get a lot done........meeting with the campground people.........looking for fun places to eat and just starting on the route layout.

if anybody has suggestions or recommendations, please let me know

    thanks and Yeeehaaaw!

LN & HM, I like E Geyman Hill road it has a slick water crossing some gravel with some good turns you can really hang out your rear tire ,not that any of us wud do that. Just to the south is another water crossing, N Jefferson Lake RD. That's just a sampling lots of good stuff down there .
