LN, Is KY the state this year? If so, LBL or more eastern?

2016 Loose Nut Dual Sport ride will primarily be in KY in and around the LBL area

Land Between the Lakes. There is about 400 miles of road, most of it dirt/gravel, and a lot of great riding.

Never heard of the LBL 200 AMA dual sport and ADV rides? It's been going on for over 25 years, almost 30 I think. Come on, you guys don't get out much.

I'm signed up for the LBL 200 this year. It will be my first LBL 200. I've riden quite a bit at Turkey Bay OHV area but it's been several years since we have been back there.

I have ridden several of the LBL200's and understand that the trail sections at those events were hiking trails, only open to bikes for that event each year. Will there be other trails available in the Loose Nut ride or will it be only the gravel roads? I hope to attend the Loose Nut ride this year in any case, just curious as to the type of riding will be available. Thanks.

Yes, I assumed that. Perhaps I wasn't clear with my question. Will there be other trails available (meaning other than the hiking trails) in the Loose Nut ride or will it be only the gravel roads? I hope to attend the Loose Nut ride this year in any case, just curious as to the type of riding will be available. Thanks for your work on this.

Lots of gravel roads........ and some without much gravel.............still working on the tracks and looking for legal trails or old abandoned roads.

I assume you know they close down some of the roads due to hunting at different times of the year. Just thought I would trow that out there. I was planning a trip down there last year and discovered that. Not sure of the dates.

Should be a fun ride. For once I didn't procrastinate and got registered for this years LBL in time. Unfortunately I put off reserving a campsite and I'm betting that Piney Campground is booked by now. If you or anyone else has a site reserved and wouldn't mind me pitching a tent on it, I'd be glad to pay in cash or beer

If y'all can work it into your schedule, stop in at Patti's 1800's in Grand Rivers for a piece of butterscotch pecan pie. It's to die for !
