These guys reported that they saw a man from Evansville on a blue street bike (it had bags) doing recon for a ride that will take place the first week of Nov. I speculated that they may have talked to the Loose Nut, and proceeded to show them this thread on the ride on my phone. I must have missed you by just a few minutes. vlcsnap-2015-09-05-17h12m31s393.png

A couple of friends and I just got into the dual sport scene and were wanting to come do the ride with you guys. Just wondering if there is going to be a base camp that we would return to both days or if you're going to start at a certain point, ride, camp, then ride back to the beginning scenario. Any help would be appreciated so we know what to do to prepare.

Is this an appropriate ride for an F700GS on stock Battle Wings? I have aggressive knobbies on the EXC so it doesn't sound like its a good fit. Hope to make the ride!

Looks like I might be riding solo this time,
will there be someone or a group I can tag along with on the KLR?
I'm old school and can run a map and compass but am not so tech savvy on gpx, gps or whatever else is used these days.
    Thanks!

That Big Dog and his bridges. Bells Branch bridge is a personal favorite.
