Just made my KOA reservations, as always this will be a blast.
I am in , cabin 7.
still plenty of overflow camping spots at the Creek Side RV park - call Holly........she'll get you set up
RENFRO VALLEY KOA.
I talked to Holly at the Renfro Valley KOA few minutes ago and she said if you go ONLINE you will see that all sites are booked. The reason is because she has reserved the whole campground for the Loose Nut ride. She also told me there are plenty of spots available, tent, rv with full hookups etc. You need to call the campground for a reservation. Office hours are 10-12 PM and 4-6 PM (606-256-2474) There will be a food truck set up at site 70 serving breakfast and other items. She is also giving the Loose Nut riders a 15 percent discount. A deposit of the first night is required when making the reservation. I reserved site 51 and looking forward to another great ride. Hope to see you all there.
whos ready for hunters stew ?? and honey shine ?
OH NO I'm next to 306dad ! on 2nd thought he will be in Gillihans camp .
Mrs Loose Nut and I have just returned from another scouting expedition in the Renfro Valley area..........
This is going to be a GREAT ride! There is such wonderful scenery and so many fun roads to ride we decided to throw in something new.............
Loose Nut 2019 will have THREE days of suggested tracks........yep, you heard me right - two days of tracks is just not enough for this area............and crash alot says maps are easy to read, so we just finished up an ADVENTURE BIKE track for a Friday suggestion. All solid surface roads - All suitable for two up and or big bikes, but some of the hilliest curviest most scenic roads that we could find.
So now that we have Friday’s track done......I’ll get back to working on tracks for Saturday and Sunday.
BTW, if you have two bikes.........bring the big one for Friday and the little one for Sat/Sun.......you’ll have a GREAT time!
Love it, can’t wait! Guess I’ll have to get a small windscreen for the WR for Friday’s ride.
Crash alot can't read a map----------he needs one of those Paree to Dacker electric rollchart thingy ma goo bobs that can be read at 94mph----------standing up----with a banana in one hand and the throttle in the other.
Al right, I’ll bring my new mutistrada and 6 bananas, .....and it will go well over 94 mph, can’t wait for Friday ride
Site reserved, can’t wait! Maybe I’ll get my damn bike sorted out by then
Camping cabin reserved, sent bill to Brewski.
Just like my wife. She orders it, I pay for it!
Reserved an electric/water site today, she said they still have plenty of space left.
Now if everyone stays healthy when the time comes.
I stopped by Wednesday and scored a cabin. They had still had two left until I paid for mine.
I'm in Spot 1
