Loose Nut Dual Sport Ride 2020:

We are finally going to ride some of the Trans America Trail - Nov 7 & 8, 2020

Mark your calendars - Loose Nut and Sam Correro are collaborating on the 9th Annual Loose Nut Dual Sport Ride. This year it will be in the north east corner of Mississippi, the north west corner of Alabama and some of western Tennessee on the first Saturday of November. November 7 & 8, 2020. As always, we keep having more fun laying out these tracks……..so, we’re just going to keep doing it next year and the next year and the next year and its always going to be on the first Saturday of November. Even better.......it's always going to be a new ride in a new area.........no repeats (at least not for a while). So for 2020, we were able to team up with a legend, Sam Correro of TAT fame. He has graciously offered to help provide local knowledge and some of his TAT tracks for us to enjoy. There will be camping, lodging and cabins in the area for us to stay. Of course it’s always hard to top last year’s ride, but the folks we have met so far, the trails we have found the creeks we’ve crossed are going to make this a great ride for 2020.

This is an ADVENTURE, ride at your own risk, ride within your own skill level, unofficial, find your own way there, provide your own lodging and food, no buy in, no costs, no services provided, no organization, bring you own tools, check out the suggested GPS tracks along public roads and trails, visit fun historical out of the way places that you might miss if you weren't from around these parts ( and some that you would ), self guided, bring along your friends, STREET LEGAL dual sport and adventure type motorcycles, this is going to be a great time, hope it rains to keep the dust down, lots of gravel roads, dirt roads, trying to stay off pavement as much as possible, etc..............most of you are going to love this ride and the beautiful Tennessee hills and hollers........if you've been to the Missouri Swinging Bridges rides, Hoosier National Forest rides, or one of the previous Loose Nut rides then you will understand the ADVRIDER community and how this works. A GPS/GPX file will be uploaded with suggested tracks and waypoints - a couple of us are going to ride these roads/tracks on the first Saturday of November 2020 - we'd love it if you were there too, but it's a pretty neat ride that was all available to street legal vehicles when it was laid out.........so ride it whenever your schedule allows. If the creeks haven't risen and the bridges don't get washed out and roads don't get closed then these should be some pretty GREAT tracks - Have a GREAT Ride and be SAFE.

There will be plenty of gas stops available along the way. And lots of places to get lunch, grab a snack or just to stop and visit.

Link to Tracks will be POSTED here:

    Campsite reserved!

How is this ride looking for a big bike riding 2 up? Turkey Run wasn't bad for a 2 up and the better half is excited about this ride as well.

From a very early perspective, this year looks like it should be a great set of tracks for big bikes or two up...…...Hope to see you in Mississippi!
