Well @Loose Nut did it again. Every year I can't believe he can match or exceed the previous year(s) but he somehow pulls it off each time!

Thanks Steve and Shanta (sp?) and Bill (@crash alot ) for the amazing tracks and food. And to Jesus for the perfect weather and low/no dust!

What a great weekend. Thanks to everyone involved in making this a great time.

I have had this on my mind for awhile now, even before this weekend's events. Has/Does anyone carry some kind of med kit with them and what kind. I always carry a few things but thinking a tourniquet should be added.

    Any thoughts?

Always have a first aid kit with extra (large gauze pads, tape, parachute cord etc). A spare tire tube could be put to use for a tourniquet if needed and having a KLR means I always have ty-wraps

Carry small first aid kit. Bunch of pain pills. I when we raced I had splints and crutches in the trailer. I always have a microfiber towel to clean shields and glasses. That or my shirt will make a fine tourniquet or sling. Plenty of sticks and I have tape for splints.
I broke a finger one day, half a clothes pin from guy at a near by campground and some electrical tape, got me to the truck and the doctor. The doctor said it was an excellent job.

I usually just bring a ambulance, but I leave it at the campsite though.

My suspenders will do as a tourniquet, always have 1in gorilla tape which was used to make a splint. Always keep pain pills, aspirin, nitro, gloves, fire starter and bottle/can opener in camel back.

I was just looking at a personal trauma kits.

Electrical tape could suffice as a tourniquet as well. I just keep a bit of para cord as well it has so many uses. Splints are whatever you have available. We had a guy break his collar bone last year and had to shuttle him back to camp. That's when the big bikes come in very handy.
