While I have zero info on the carrier that he posted, check out VersaHauler. I had one and I believe it was rated up to 650lbs. I only hauled my 450EXC on the back, but the guy I bought it from hauled a Gold Wing. Obviously that is why he sold it, too much bike to get up and down solo from an RV. But I think it would work for the 790/890 crew.

I built it in an afternoon. 4~6 hours. It is large enough to handle the 790 and 1290. I have a class V hitch so tongue weight isn't an issue.

Does anyone know the longest distance between fuel stops, wondering if my stock ktm500 tank is big enough, only about 100 mile range. Thanks.

A 100 mile tank has never been a problem on a previous LN ride and I'm guessing it won't be on this one. Can you even get 100 miles away from gas in Indiana?

Question: I called the State Park and they said all water and restrooms will be shutoff and closed effective Nov 1. I asked if any fresh water would be available to fill my tank and the response was that it would not be available.

I have never stayed at Spring Mill previously but wanted to see what alternatives might be available. I am assuming the dump station will be open but maybe without water to flush.

I figured some of the locals probably had some insight to this. Thanks.

I'm sure Steve has talked to them about this. Nov 1st is when they do shut down campsites, whoever answered the phone was not aware of this hopefully.

We all need to start calling and get them to turn it on like they did at Clifty Falls SP

Those guys putting on organized rides in our general area do a very good job on distance between gas stops to accommodate everyone's gas needs.
