Moving companies are refusing to move the Chargers.

So far 24 San Diego-based moving outfits plus 9 in LA have pledged to turn down the Charges move.

    They've even started a website, http://wewontmoveyouchargers.com.

    Sports, amiright? :lol3

ps I notice that Mayflower, the Colts' favorite moving company, isn't on the list.

Don't the teams have the vehicles to do this sort of move themselves? Eighteen-wheelers, etcetera. I mean, they're moving an enormous amount of stuff every time they have an away game, unless they fly everywhere. Instead of one single convoy of moving vehicles, maybe they make several trips. But I would think the Chargers have the vehicles to do it themselves.

Anyway, someone will take their money eventually. I think economics beats sports. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

They don't own, they hire. Much more economical than maintaining a fleet for a few days a year.

    Gotcha.

Anyway, I think some company will decide to take their money eventually. It's probably a lot of money to move an entire team.

I see that the LA Chargers have already ditched that much-ridiculed new logo. :lol3

At their pep rally today I couldn't believe that dipshit Goodell said, “It was the goal of the NFL to return to Southern California”

I take it that Goodell is geographically challenged.

My bet Davis Jr. fucks that up... well he already has, but he'll do more.

Chargers should have gone to San Antonio.

Vegas is already a weekend destination town. Yeah, Raiders fans will come from California and opposition teams fans will come. "Hey, let's do a Vegas weekend and catch _____."

I know, I'd go- and I'm not that into Vegas- as a Broncos fan. I would never go to an Oakland game.

The Raiders will have to pay $550 million to the NFL owners for the relocation fee. It seems to me with the A's moving, that the relocation fee can do quite a bit of upgrades to the old Oakland Coliseum. The Oakland Raiders could come out of this more profitable than moving to Vegas.

Yeah, the attempt to define a catch has reached the point of absurdity and everyone but the NFL can see it.
