Faithful companion always by my side and the reason I have sidecars. He had diabetes and I gave him insulin shots twice a day but it still eventually got him. He was such a sweetheart dog.

    RIP Jack.

It’s always hard. I’ve been contemplating a side car to take the wife and our Oggie with us.

The rides maybe less fun now but he’s at peace and in a better place. My condolences

Always hard to lose such a great companion. Like most dogs, he probably gave more than he got but it looks like you gave him a great life too.

Sorry for your loss. They leave us so quickly, but they leave us richer than they found us.

Losing a dog is always tough, but losing one that has shared so fully in your life cuts to the core! The memories will last your lifetime. And remember, while all dogs go to heaven, sidecar dogs get there in style...

Very sorry for your loss. I also had to say goodbye to my good dog Ben recently. Dogs are the best.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. He was not only my sidecar companion, was with me pretty much 24/7.

Been there done that and it will always suck. But we move on and a new dog just seems to fill that void almost. My only advice is to find a new puppy who will love just the same and maybe more. I feel for you.....

Always ready to go, always trusting, stick with you though your moments of sheer stupid, not judging just waiting patiently for you to pull your head out, best friends for life, yours or his. We have one who recently had a stroke and lost all motor control. He is a rescued, one-eyed dog without a mean bone anywhere. Got him from a rescue outfit in Austin, TX twelve years ago when he was four years old. Yes, he is a senior canine but with a will to survive and now, three days after the stroke, he is recovering! We have lost five in the last 28 years so we know what you are experiencing. But we are better for having such dear friends for their too short lives than avoiding the sadness of their passing.
