Yesterday's drive to penninsula Peljesac...
And riding back..
Great pictures as always You have some great places to ride.
Thanks for the photos. I have spent a lot of time in and around Zagreb. Love Croatia! I can't wait to spend some time on the coast.
So.... Some new and important update. Vespa is sold. I'm liking that scooter soo much, fast, nippy, ideal for daily commuting, but I want something new, if you mean "new" for 16 years old Ducati...
After three weeks of searching ads, driving to the north of Slovenia, I found one good looking Monster 620 i.e in Slavonski Brod. Slavonski Brod is city in eastern Croatia, 650 kilometers from me, so I found the guy who checked motorycle for me, gave me green light, and the same day I have been in the bus to Zagreb, and next day in Slavonski Brod.
And, 400 kilometers way trough Bosnia and Herzegovina was the way. With 10 years old tires, wet and slippery roads, it was adventure (or stupidity).
Canyon of river Vrbas, driving under massive cliffs.
Look on town Jajce
After 400 kilometers of 110% concentrated driving, we are home. So, few words about Ducati... 2002 Monster 620 i.e. Dark, imported from Italy with broken clutch plates, first paint, untouched, with Leo Vince exhaust, 48 000 kilometrs on odometer. Needed new tires and rear brake master cylinder. I don't like black frame so much, but condition of bike was great, so I decided to buy it.
I hope we will put many lucky kilometers together. Benvenuti Ducati!
Congratulations on the new motorcycle
I much prefer their bikes with fairings but I expect you to keep me entertained on this new beast :)
Just usual weekend ride (:
So, let's go for a ride! To avoid traffic jams, road leads me trough dalmatian hinterland...
The oldest woring mill in Croatia you can find in small place Grab close to Trilj. It's 600 years old and still working and producing!
On the road!

Summer traffic jams... What? Let's go to dalmatian hinterland, but today in another direction!
Barn Find is very popular term in modern auto scene, but 10 years ago when I was enjoying working old Mini Cooper and Fiat, ithat was just old car sitting in backyard or in some old house. In the various numbers of Zastavas, Fiats and lot other uninteresting things, I found something rare and interesting.
So, let' check if it's still on its place!
'30s... With lot of Patina
And I'm going on.
Then... A Hornet which is not a Honda. 10 minutes in hospital and I'm home now. I didn't planned that, but today is relax day.
Used to have that exact same bike. Sure do miss it. I'm convinced that I need to come to Croatia after seeing all your pictures. Thanks for sharing

Thank you... Traffic jams and high temperatures aren't idea conditions for driving, but on local back roads always is nice...
Nature Park Biokovo, here I come! (:
So, some local driving...

Old town of Sinj
Well, you probably heard about croatian football success... Imotski is hometown of croatian striker Ante Rebić. Rebića strana is road where local racers try to reach the maximum from their cars, so let's try it!
so, about 7000 kilometers in last few months...
And, one of my favourite roads, Makarska-Vrgorac
Open road, sunny day and italian V2!
Trough Vrlika field...

Per usual, amazing pictures, thanks for sharing
Thanks for the report. I spent two weeks in Croatia in September driving around the country in a rental cage. I hope to return someday to explore your amazing country on a motorcycle!
It's nice to enjoy in sunny day in that time of the year.
Again, cold sunny day. Needed new tires, some service requirements, but absolutely that's no reason to stay home.
And then, on the other side!
