I'm riding a 2013 Yamaha Super Tenere with a full setup for overland. I am going to do the MABDR in early June 2020 but my wife prefers if I go with someone else. In this case, the more the merrier. Lets make it a trip to remember especially since there is so much warning. Who is game?

Here's a thought, if you time this right the NEBDR maybe finalized and what an adventure that could be?????
I so hope my Life events (Kid's marriages, grand children, selling/buying homes) is done this years so I can honestly entertain doing something like this next year.

BDR is putting on a BDR Appalachian Adventure right here in my backyard May 14-17, 2020. I will be attending this event if anyone would like to launch from my house anytime before May 14. I still want to do MABDR in early June as well so lets keep planning.

The NEBDR provides 2 major challenges to me. #1 distance from home in Chattanooga to start. #2 Coordinating efforts and waypoints won't be very documented for planning purposes. It would very much be a last minute launch. I am finding a lot of good information and recommendations on the MABDR for big bike vs small bike, launch points, and resupply.

I rode it in May of this year. Enjoyed it so much I would do the trip again. Hit me up after the new year as your plans firm up.

Might be able to join for a stretch. I just realized it comes within 8 miles of the house.

The first two weeks of June are pretty open for me, and the MADBR is on my bucket list. Feel free to PM me for contact information and planning. I would do it on my R1250GSA, and would be open to either camping or hoteling, or some combination of the two.

From Indiana, would be interested in hooking up for MADBR in June or July. Camping or Hotel works for me.

There is a group of us from Ohio doing it the week of June 14th... all on large ADV bikes

    1. Motels not camping
    2. Riding at what most would consider a very brisk pace.
    3. Pre booking motels about 200-250 miles apart. Probably do it in 5 days

Sounds good to me. I am riding a 2014 R1200GSA, experienced rider, mid 50’s, where are you planning to start / stop?

Myself and two other guys are planning on hitting it from June 6th on.
We hope to camp several days in the and mix it up with a hotel along the way to get rejuvenated.
When we get closer we will have better idea as we are just beginning the planning stages.
two of us are coming out of Wisconsin and meeting up with a friend from southern Illinois.

Gilbyj, I would be interested in joining you guys. Are you thinking of a week ride? I can be flexible. Certainly open to camping and/or hotel. I am located in southern Indiana just 2 hours south of Indianapolis, 1.5 hours west of Louisville Ky.

Perhaps your wife would be satisfied if you took a SPOT or a Garmin InReach and then you could do a solo trip
