Looks right to me
I was close, but don't think it warrants a cigar and I don't know that I will get back out there to try to get a photo of the correct beach. Maybe later this week if the weather holds out
As InTheMuck said, it was not obvious what beach entrance the original pic came from. I saw several roads ending in the lake and picked this one. As it's been 5 weeks since the last post I thought I would try and grab this tag. It was taken south of Oaklawn Academy on the western shore of Lake Koshkonong. Close enough?
I’d say post a new one!
Beautiful area. I'm coming back without the motorcycle gear to hike around in the future . . or at least not at 90'.
Nice whip....that is all.
So much history here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taliesin_(studio)
Now that's dedication to the tag.
I mean buying the same bike to get the tag with, impressive indeed
Yeah I had to do a double take.
Also, I'm glad I didn't head up to grab the tag today (thought about it). I post from my PC and not my phone so I for sure wouldn't have gotten it in time.
Edit: Cool passenger! I need to get a back support of some sort for my bike. The kids feel like they are falling off the back currently when we go out.
I over estimated the temps today. Still a bit chilly. I looked and, as far as I can tell, it was about 10 years ago that the ferry was posted. It was my first time. Devils Lake was busy. The Dells was busy. People are really getting out and about.
I just have a bunch of towels jammed into the tail bag to try and beef it up. She just about falls asleep back there and her first time on a motorcycle was a week ago. I have only had the bike for about three weeks and still ironing out all of the kinks. Still a fun day!
The new bike looks great.
Pretty cool your kid will go out with you on the bike. My wife banned our kids from my bike until recently.
Bet your day was more fun than mine: Cleaning the dogs and cleaning my wife's car.
Hmm, colder than I thought it would be today. Oh well.
Hint: Battle of Wisconsin Heights.
FYI google has no clue where this is. It is south of Sauk City on HWY 78, near the Black Hawk Unit Trailhead as shown on google maps.
